Don't Be Afraid of Confrontation People compare confrontation to "drama." They want no more drama in their lives... Understandable... to a certain extent. But here is the thing, confrontation is the key to progress. If anything is left unchallenged, there will not be any growth or development. Confrontation is that challenge. These days we have these fancy terms like conflict anxiety disorder, etc., because the more mental disorders out there, the better. But the reality is, because people are trying to stay out of "drama," the eventually develop the fear of confrontation. People don't want to have confrontation in relationships... But confrontation is a necessary part of any healthy relationship, even when it comes to a relationship with YOURSELF. Occasionally, you have to confront yourself! You have to call out yourself on stupid things that you do or have done. This is how we learn. If you let yourself get away with your dumb mistakes every time then you will simply continue doing them. Confrontation is good. But you also need to learn the healthy confrontation. Healthy confrontation is when you want to make things better, when you want to find solution to a problem, fix the relationship, etc. So, forget the "no drama" rhetoric.
